INCOMA Engineering has performed Duct Air Leakage Testing (DALT) services for the “Air Freight Terminal” project at Incirlik AB, Turkey. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District managed the $2.3 million project out of its Turkey Resident Office on base at Incirlik.

This is a design-build project for renovation and modernization of an Air Freight Terminal, on Incirlik Air Base, Turkey. The building that was renovated consists of multiple warehouse type buildings with steel structure and corrugated metal roof and wall cladding constructed adjacent to each other. The building serves as a freight terminal for receiving, packing, and inspection of incoming and outgoing air and ground shipments of goods. DALT for was performed as per SMACNA requirements including two (2) supply air ducts and two (2) return air ducts for two (2) each Outside Air Processing Units (OAPUs) and one (1) exhaust air duct for one (1) Exhaust Fan (EF). DALT was performed by INCOMA technicians witness of Contractor and Client representatives.
